Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank proudly introduced their little son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, on Saturday, 20 February 2021 on social media, along with a message of thanks.

Their ‘wonderful midwife’ took the first photos of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank as a family of three.

August was born at 8.55 am on Tuesday, 9 February 2021, at the Portland Hospital in London.

Reports say one of August’s middle names was also named after his great-grandfather Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

He is Queen Elizabeth’s ninth great-grandchild and is currently 11th in the line of succession of the throne.

However, August will be bumped down to 12th once the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s second child is born.

Buckingham Palace also posted this exciting news on their social media accounts.

Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank have announced that they have named their son August Philip Hawke Brooksbank. The couple have been touched by the well wishes they have received on the birth of their first child, and are delighted to share this first photo as a family.
