Prince Guillaume and Princess Stéphanie shared photos of their son, Prince François, on Thursday, 30 March 2023.

Prince François Henri Luis Marie Guillaume was born in the Maternité Grand-Duchesse Charlotte in Luxembourg on Monday, 27 March 2023, at 10.04 am.

He weighed in at 3.575kg (about 7 pounds 14 ounces) and measured 53 cm (21 inches) in length.

The little prince is now third in the line of succession to the Grand Ducal Throne, following his father, Prince Guillaume, the Hereditary Grand Duke and older brother Prince Charles who turns 3 in May.

The Grand Ducal Court of Luxembourg posted the following message on their official social media accounts:

The Crown Prince and Princess are delighted to share the first photos of #Prince François with you.

They are deeply grateful for the kind messages they have received on the occasion of their second child’s birth.
